Now, I like to think of myself as tolerably badass.  I swear.  I laugh at sexist jokes.  I own the guys at my local arcade (The Scummiest Place On Earth^TM) when I play Tekken DR.  I'm better than average at Zone 3, and that actually involves running around and shooting a gun.  

Apparently that's all bollocks when it comes to paintball.  

I don't think I hit anyone, and while it was fun going bush and getting covered with mud and paint, now my body wants to sue me for damages.  I was the only girl (I did my gender no favours today), I was head-shotted the most out of the twelve people that went, I somehow damaged every single leg muscle I have and - to add insult to injury - I ruined my nails.  

But would I do it again? 

Hell yeah.

I just had to help my dad put down two perfectly healthy dogs, just because their stupid owner couldn't find a new home for them.  

What's okay about that?

I blew the dust off some old characters (and my dialogue-writing skills) and... This turned up. Of odd friendships and clothes-swapping...

 

Big fat dumping of my Pet Shop of Horrors drabbles, all of them responses to the weekly challenges over at psohdrabble.  And now they're here, in my journal too ^___^

They're proper drabbles too, all exactly 100 words.  Why?  Because I'm oddly nitpicky.

With any luck, this will make me feel better.  That's what journals are for, right?

An original fiction drabble this time, dealing with psychological muteness.  Vague mentions of sex.

More random fiction, both written perhaps a month ago, and both insatiably wierd in very different ways.   One haunting, one possession.  Both with a "watching" theme.  I'd rate them both R, probably.

Because this journal of mine looks unbelievably sad, it's time to post random fiction - or in the case of this one, not-so-fiction.  It's called "Spectator".
